The Role:
We’re looking for our first sales hire at Simplex 3D in NYC to close deals and build out our sales function. As the first dedicated sales team member, you’ll have a unique opportunity to shape our sales processes and build strong, long-term relationships with customers. The right person for this role will have a proven track record and be ready to hit the ground running to drive revenue growth through both inbound and outbound efforts. A strong background in both SaaS sales, preferably in PropTech, with understanding of the NYC Real Estate ecosystem is required.
Responsibilities:
- Drive Growth: Close inbound and outbound deals, taking ownership of the entire sales cycle from lead qualification to contract.
- Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a sales pipeline aimed at generating new accounts and expanding partnerships with existing customers in the main segments of architects, developers, property management, and commercial brokerage firms.
- Product Demonstrations: Conduct compelling product demonstrations and presentations that highlight the unique benefits of our platform.
- Customer Relationships: Nurture strong, long-term customer relationships, working closely with our Customer Success Manager (CSM) to ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing engagement.
- Performance Tracking: Track sales activities, analyze performance, and provide regular updates to the management team.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with Product and leadership teams to align our offerings with customer needs, driving solutions that resonate with customers.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in SaaS sales, preferably within the PropTech sector.
- 3+ years of sales leadership experience.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Understanding of the NYC real estate market.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Established network within the PropTech industry is a big advantage for this role.
- Experience in GIS or maps applications is a plus.
