The Role:
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will play a pivotal role in driving growth by identifying, qualifying, and engaging with potential customers in the real estate space. You will be the first point of contact for prospects, responsible for generating leads and scheduling meetings for our Account Executives. This role will require close collaboration with the sales and marketing teams to help expand our reach and establish a robust market presence in the NYC area.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation: Proactively research, prospect, and identify new business opportunities in the real estate sector.
- Sales Outreach: Initiate contact with potential customers through cold calls, emails, and social media channels (e.g., LinkedIn).
- Qualifying Leads: Qualify inbound leads and conduct initial outreach to assess prospects’ needs, challenges, and alignment with our solutions.
- Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our SaaS platform to effectively communicate its value to potential clients.
- Collaboration: Partner with Account Executives to transition qualified leads and schedule meetings for product demos or deeper discussions.
- Market Research: Stay informed about real estate and SaaS trends to better understand customers’ pain points and how our product fits into their workflows.
Requirements:
- 3+ years in B2B SaaS with a proven track record of at least a 30% conversion rate from cold outreach to demo.
- Familiarity with the real estate industry, including emerging PropTech trends.
- Basic knowledge of GIS tools and their applications in real estate (preferred).
- Strong prospecting, cold calling, and qualification abilities with a focus on building relationships and generating high-quality leads.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage senior decision-makers and convey complex technical concepts clearly.
- Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and lead management tools.
- Results-driven, self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to learn and grow in the PropTech and SaaS sectors.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal skills for building lasting business relationships; an existing network in the real estate industry is a plus.
- Experience in researching, creating cold outreach lists, A/B testing outreach copy, and optimizing the SDR funnel using generative AI.
